Exceptional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, from selected grapes from our estate of Mas de Valls, typical Catalan farmhouse of the fourteenth century located in the former departure of Les Pórpores, in the municipality of Reus.
Of beautiful purple color with great tones and purple reflections.
Full and complex aromas, which give us a wine of great character, balanced and round, with a bouquet of magnificent elegance and finesse. Warm and sensual aroma, of red fruits of the forest, cassis, and soft notes of green pepper, that appear fleetingly before the imminent and majestic roasted and spicy aroma, provided by its aging in the three oaks, – French, Hungarian and Romanian-, of cocoa, coffee and vanilla.
Velvety wine, balanced and round, with an exquisite palate. Excellent step in the mouth, where fruit and oak are harmoniously intertwined. Very long after-taste, both in flavors and retronasal aromas; a real pleasure for lovers of red reservations.
Companion of the best meals; stews of red meats, typical dishes such as suckling pig or baked suckling, tables of cured cheeses or assorted Iberian sausages.

Grapes from our payments from Mas de Valls, in the D.O. Tarragona, with calcareous soil and influenced by the sun and the Mediterranean Sea. These varieties were harvested at the beginning of September, Tempranillo and Merlot, while the Cabernet Sauvignon, was picked at the beginning of October of the year, considering the vintage of Excelente.Se maturation controls are carried out in the vineyards to select the best grapes, from our Mas de Valls payments, and we ferment them-macerated in cold for 3 days to finish the fermentation at a temperature not higher than 26 ºC. The malolactic is carried out spontaneously in stainless steel tanks, before going to rest for 16 months in French, Hungarian and Romanian oak barrels, where this wine is forged fruit of the research and knowledge of our group of winemakers.

After being bottled, before its sale, it evolves in bottle for 365 days to express its character in full conditions. It is a wine with a spectacular palate that will very positively evolve in the bottle, the more years go by.
